Pauline Hefler Obituary

Pauline Hefler, 69, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at her home in peace.

A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm Friday, January 21, 2022 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday, at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Pauline was born June 21, 1952, in Ottawa, IL, to David and Marie (Stoudt) Hill. She married Gary Hefler on July 7th, 2007. She was a graduate of Marquette High School. She retired from Pharmacy Stop Center at the Medical Center as a Pharmacy Tech.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Hefler; her sons, Ryan (Karlie) and Derek (Crystal) Schunke; her Stepdaughter, Sarah Hefler; two grandchildren, River (Allison) Abram and Rylin Schunke, her three sisters Dava Aussem, Lori (Nort) Stephenson and Theresa (Jerry) Schott; and her Brother in Law, Jerry Carey.

Pauline was preceded in death by her 1st husband, George Schunke; her parents; one brother, John Hill; three sisters, Mary Anne Farrell, Sharon Carey and Margaret McGrath.
