Patricia A. Gottberg

Patricia Ann Gottberg, 76, of Ottawa, IL, went home to her Jehovah on Monday, August, 9, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later time. Ottawa Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Patricia was born July 6, 1945 to Floyd and Lotti Flowers. In 1961, she married Herbert Gottberg. She was a very devoted, caring, and loving soul to all.

Patricia is survived by her children, Rose (Reginald) Weathersby, Karen (Tracy) Cooper, Harry Gottberg, Mary (John) Rudow, Arthur (Rebecca) Gottberg, and Jennifer (Jerry) Kinney; two brothers, Raymond and Kenny Flowers; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; one great great grandson; a host of nieces and nephews; two very special friends, Jaun and Sherry Martinez; and her Jehovah Witness friends.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Floyd and Lotti Flowers; her husband, Herbert Gottberg; four sisters; one brother; and two grandchildren, Nathan Hudson and Daphne Wolgast.

'With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say "Look! The tent of God is with mankind and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.' Revelations 21: 3-4
