Patricia Anne Bohler

Patricia Anne (Maubach) Bohler, 83, of Minooka, IL, passed away Sunday April 10, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, April 14, at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Rev David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be 11 to 1:00 pm  at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. 

Patricia was born July 1, 1938, in , Manville, IL, to Ralph and Jean (Davis) Maubach . She married William Bohler on June 18, 1960 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. 

Pat graduated from Ottawa High School and went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in English from Saint Francis in Joliet. She was a Librarian at the Shorewood Library for over 30 years and was instrumental in finding the libraries current, long-time home. She was a proud member Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), loved books, clocks and Steinbach Nutcrackers. She was a tenacious genealogist, an incredible mother and grandmother, and a friend to many.

She is survived by her five sons, Michael, William Jr., Kurt (Lisa), Peter (Marie) and Jason Bohler, four grandchildren Brandon, Matthew, Blake and Sabrina and her brother David (Maggie) Maubach

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a son Fredric.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice.
