Mary Ann Eutis

July 4, 1943 ~ July 11, 2023 (age 80) 80 Years Old


Mary Ann was born in Ottawa, IL, on July 4, 1943, and journeyed home on July 11, 2023. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Mary Ann was the daughter of Hugh and Sue Travi. She attended Saint Francis Grade School and Marquette High School, and graduated from Saint Mary’s Academy in Nauvoo, IL. Mary Ann worked at Libbey Owens/Pilkington from 1975 to 2021. She was head of the Libbey Owens/Pilkington Retirement Committee from 2002 to 2021. She enjoyed traveling, fine dining, and friends and family.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband Herman, her parents Hugh and Sue Travi, her grandmother Mary (Rossiter) Barrett, and her brothers Joe and John Travi of Ottawa, IL. Mary Ann is survived by her daughter Carol Ann (Jose) Hanquier, her son Kevin (Tricia) Mattingly, her brother James (Jean) Travi, her sister Susan (Martin) MacDonald, her cousin Katie (Vern) Heft, and her two sisters in-law, Mary Travi and Carol Travi. Mary Ann has five grandchildren, Travis Mattingly, and Jocelyne, Zachary, Zoe, and Gabby Hanquier, along with many nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann gives special thanks to her nephew Scott Travi and his wife Tricia Travi, her loving cousin and travel companion Katie Heft, and her sister Susan for all their love and care. Most of all, she gives thanks to her children and their spouses for staying with her from the beginning to the end.

Mary Ann will be interred in Saint Columba Cemetery alongside her parents Sue and Hugh Travi. The family will hold a private celebration of life.
