Mary Lou Gorski

Mary Lou (Jaeger) Gorski, 75, of Ottawa passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Visitation will be 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm prior to services Thursday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be 1:00 Friday, October 16, 2015 in Oakwood Memorial Park. Mary Lou was born May 29, 1940 in Ottawa, Illinois to Albert and Marjorie (Green) Jaeger. She was a bartender for many years at Carretto's and was also a nail technician at Style Stations. She enjoyed going to the casinos and purchasing lotto tickets. She is survived by her children, Candace (Joseph Wolfe) Olesen, Gary (Diane Schunke) Schunke, Ronald (Debbie) Schunke, and Leo (Janice) Schunke; grandchildren, Ashley (Darren Carlson) Olesen, Adam (Jamie Rhodes) Olesen, Andrea (James) DeBolt, Christopher (Missy) Olesen, David Olesen, Matthew Olesen, and John Olesen; great-grandchildren, William Carlson, Brendan Olesen, Braxton DeBolt, Raine Olesen, and Lucas Olesen; siblings, Marjorie Bond, Michael Jaeger, Mark Jaeger, and Anthony Jaeger; her former son-in-law, George Olesen; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Bryanna Olesen; and one brother, Charles Jaeger. Memorials may be directed to her family.
