Marjorie Renwick

Marjorie Renwick, 97, of Ottawa, IL, passed away peacefully Friday August 12, 2022.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 17, 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Ottawa Funeral Home. Private interment at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Marjorie was born March 21, 1925, in Princeton, IL, to Curtis and Mryna Dawson. She married Robert Renwick, on June 11, 1949 in Princeton, Il. Robert passed away on May 12, 2000.

Educated as a Registered Nurse, she worked in public health throughout her career. She carried the spirit of selfless giving and caring  throughout her life. She was a devoted dog lover, award winning watercolorist, recognized by the National Herb Society and was the recipient of the Key to the City of Ottawa, IL.

Her love of family sustained throughout her life.

  
She will be gravely missed by her daughters; Lynne Morley and Rebecca Renwick, both of Colorado, her grandchildren Benjamin Herington (Lisa), Emily Renwick Garnett (Alec), and Katherine Renwick (Jed), and four great-grandchildren, Ashton Robert, Adella Scott, Andrew Dawson, and Liam Augustus.  Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Robert and son Scott.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Pet Project or LaSalle Co. Master Gardeners.
