Lloyd "Butch" Davis, 60, of Ottawa passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Funeral services will be held at 6 pm, Monday, March 15 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Rev. Michael Driscoll officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 pm, prior to services, at the funeral home. Due to COVID guidelines, masks and social distancing are mandatory.
Butch was born July 10, 1960 in Ottawa and was raised in Marseilles. He was a hardworking man, and worked for GE Plastics and Valley Metals for many years. He lived half his life on two wheels constantly riding motorcycles. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and flying RC airplanes.
Butch was a little rough around the edges, but he truly was a sweet family man with a sense of humor that could light up any room. He loved going out to eat and spending time with his family. There was never a dull moment with Butch, and he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his two daughters, Jenni (Mike Hughes) Margherio and Sarah (Ed) Kahon, both of Ottawa; seven grandchildren, Nevaeh and Zander Margherio, Harper and Hadley Hughes, Karrie, Carolyn, and Kennedi Kahon; five siblings, Mike (Vivian) Davis, Michele Wiekert, Scott (Amy) Davis, Kayla Kosters, and Joey Kern; and many nieces and nephews.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Sandra and Joe Kern; his granddaughter, Trista; and his nephew, Andrew Davis.
