Lillian Marie Tomberlin

Lillian Marie Tomberlin, 69, of Seneca passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at Morris Hospital. Funeral Service will be 2:00 Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Oakwood Memorial Park in Ottawa with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be 1:30 - 2:00 prior to services Wednesday at Oakwood Memorial Park. Entombment will be at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Oakwood Memorial Park. Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home in Seneca was entrusted with Lillian's arrangements. Lillian was born November 28, 1942 in Ottawa to Nate and Virginia (Watson) Vernoy. She married Dale Tomberlin May 15, 1965 in Seneca, Illinois. She took great pride in donating to the Paralyzed Vets as well as St. Jude's Children's Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Dale; one son, Frank Irvin (Tracy) Tomberlin of O'Dell; two daughters, Wanda Lee (Ed) Williams of Colorado, and Jaimie Marie Blackburn of Seneca; four grandchildren, Tanya Lee Williams, Sean David Tomberlin, Angela Beth Williams, and Christina Anne Tomberlin; two brothers, Arnold Peek of Oklahoma, and Russell Peek of Serena; one sister, Betty Warren of Seneca; and her two special children, Sugar Rose and Baby. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son-in-law, Albert Blackburn; six brothers; her twin brother in infancy; and one sister. Memorials may be directed to a charity of your choice.
