Kenneth Brown

Kenneth Brown, 69, of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

A celebration of Ken's life will be held at a later date. Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation rites.

Ken was born February 3, 1953, in Ottawa, IL, to Walter Dale and Mary Evelyn Brown.

He worked as a press brake operator at Lyon Metal in Montgomery for many years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed bowling and darts and was an avid sports fan. He was an animal lover, he especially loved dogs. Ken never met a stranger and could chit-chat and could make friends with anyone. He loved to spend time with his family; especially with his grandkids and his great grandson. 

He is survived by his two children, Anna and Theodore Brown; his granddaughters, Mary and Mercedes Freda; his great grandson, Luca Ceron Freda; his close family friend, Heather Delara; and his sister, Lisa Prox. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Diana "Deedee" Reimer; and his brother, James Clarke.
