Joanne C. McLachlan, 81, of Ottawa, IL, died, Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at St. Mary's Church, in Naplate, with Rev. Jules Adator officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Prayers at 4:00 PM. Joanne McLachlan was born, November 19, 1929, in Ottawa, to Milton and Mildred (Fitzgerald) Vallat. She married Laurence Leo McLachlan on June 24, 1950 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa. He died March 18, 2002. She worked at the First National Bank in Ottawa for over 25 years. She was a member of St. Mary Church in Naplate, Home Extension, Ottawa Garden Club, and the Sandwich Sewing Club. She is survived by one son, Jim (Donna) McLachlan of Plainfield, Il; two daughters, Laurie Govednik of Ottawa and Jean (Jim) Olson of Serena; and two grandsons, Scott and Mark Govednik. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Gerald McLachlan. Pallbearers will be Jack, Robert, Paul & Donald McLachlan, Scott and Mark Govednik. Memorials may be directed to the Donor's choice.
