Adelynn Dean

Adelynn Lavender Dean, 2 months, of LaSalle, passed away April 3, 2023. 

Adelynn was born January 13, 2023, in Ottawa, to Julian Dean and Cassandralynn Palko.

She is survived by her parents; her brothers, Jase Dean of LaSalle and Romeo Dean of Sandwich; her grandparents, Jeffrey and Billie Jo Goetz of Marseilles, Thomas Palko of Streator, Lisa Dean of LaSalle, Orlando Montanez of Yorkville, Edwin Bentain of Plainfield, and Donald Williams of LaSalle; her great grandparents, Debbie Swartz of Marseilles, Jim and Susan Palko of Streator, Edward and Janice Goetz of Ottawa, and Alfonso Castaneda of Sandwich; her great great grandparents, Donald and Sandra Stahly of Las Vegas and Anna Swartz of Marseilles; her aunts, Dannie Branson of Marseilles, Jessica Montanez of LaSalle, and Abby Bentain of Chicago; her uncles, Lucas Goetz and Cordell James of Marseilles, Kyle Bentain of Minnesota, and Elijah Bentain of Chicago; her God Father, Blake Stammet; and 12 great aunts, 17 great uncles, and countless cousins and other family members. 

Adelynn was preceded in death by her great grandfathers, Roger Branson, Timothy Swartz, and Daniel Dean; great grandmother, Darleane Bishop; great great grandparents, William and Margaret Branson, Ira Swartz, Fredrick "Fritz" and Corrine Neiggemann, Roland and Zona Bishop, and Lacy and Bonnie Dean; and her great aunt, Twala Dean. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 10:00am until 1:00pm at Ottawa Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will follow at 1:00pm at Ottawa Funeral Home with Colton Reiter officiating.
