Yvonne A. Cairns

Yvonne A. Cairns, 80, of Ottawa, IL passed away Sunday February 14, 2010 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday February 18, 2010 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. George Kalb officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Wednesday February 17, at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Yvonne was born January 27, 1930 in Ottawa, IL to Charles and Evelyn (Coulson) Eichelkraut. She married Robert Cairns November 1949. He died January 6, 1961. She retired from Carson Pirie Scott and the South Side Eagle Store. Yvonne is survived by one son, Bill (Rebecca) Cairns of Ottawa; three daughters, Pamela (Kent) Burgwald of Ottawa, Kim Cairns of Ottawa, and Beth (Dave) Rawlins of Benton Harbor, MI; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Gerald Eichelkraut and a daughter in infancy. Pallbearers will be Matt and Ryan Burgwald, Jacob Broadus, Brian Freese, Robert Cairns, and Chuck Eichelkraut Memorials may be directed to the Grand Ridge Ambulance Service.
