William Vaughn

William "Bill" Vaughn, 86, of Marseilles, Illinois, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 at Ottawa Pavilion. In honoring Bill's request he will not be having any services. Ottawa Funeral Home and Crematory was entrusted with his cremation rites. Bill was born March 6, 1928 in Ashland, Missouri to James and Carrie (Bryant) Vaughn. He was a member of the Chicagoland Day Lilly Society. Bill graduated from Ottawa High School. He moved to Chicago where he lived and worked until he retired from Northern Trust Bank. He moved back to the Ottawa area in 2009. He is survived by his brother, Dean (Ann) Vaughn of Ottawa; two nephews, William Vaughn of Streator and Robert Vaughn of Ottawa; three great nieces, Katie, Lanie, and Karri Vaughn all of Streator; and a great-great niece, Lexie Black of Streator. He is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Robert and Carrie Webb; and his father, James Vaughn. Memorials may be directed to Pet Project or donors' choice.
