William Twohey

William Twohey, 70, of Ottawa, IL, died, Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Streator, IL. Memorial Mass will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 18, 2009 at St. Patrick's Church, with the Rev. Philip Halfacre officiating. Entombment will be Shrine of Rest Mausoleum at Oakwood Memorial Park in Ottawa. Arrangements are entrusted to the Ottawa Funeral Home. William Twohey was born Friday, September 1, 1939, in Ottawa, IL., to Francis and Arline (Gustafson) Twohey. He married Sharon King on December 26, 1959 at St. Patrick Church in LaSalle, IL. She died April 21, 1997. He was Attorney in Ottawa for over 25 years but his passion was golf. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church. He is survived by one daughter, Tamara (Gary) Rimstidt of Ottawa; two sons, Jeffery Twohey of Ottawa and William Twohey Jr. of Missouri; six grandchildren Taylor, Rachael and Tessa Rimstidt, Zach, Grant and Preston Twohey; one great grandson, Rayce Small and his Companion Nancy Arreguin of Ottawa. He was preceded in death by his Parents, two brothers Robert and Patrick Twohey. Memorials may be directed to the family.
