William Schiffbauer

William J. "Wolfe" Schiffbauer, 70, of Ottawa died Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 AM Saturday at Ottawa Funeral Home. William was born June 25, 1941 in Ottawa, Illinois to Wilbur and Mae (Robinson) Schiffbauer. He and his brother owned and operated JRC Service Station and Tire Center in Ottawa. He served in the National Guard and then with the Army Reserve, serving in Germany. He was involved in a fantasy football league and many coffee groups. He is survived by one brother; Robert (Valerie) Schiffbauer of Ottawa, two nieces; Beth (Brian) LeBeau, Sommer (Mike) Davis, and two nephews; Rob (Amy) Schiffbauer, and Tim (Erica) Schiffbauer, and six great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers will be William Valle, Lance Valle, Rob Schiffbauer, Tim Schiffbauer, Brian LeBeau, Mike Davis and Phil Marshall.
