William "Bill" Renz

William "Bill" E. Renz, 63, of Ottawa passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at OSF. St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation rites.

Bill was born December 20, 1952 in Ottawa to William F. and Eleanor (Alme) Renz. He married Julie Mitchell November 20, 1991 in Ottawa. He was an avid Green Bay Packers and NASCAR fan. Bill loved music and had an amazing sense of humor. His kids were his life.

He is survived by his wife, Julie; three kids, Dylan, Charlie, and Brandi (Ash) Renz; one grandbaby due in May, and his furry kid, Maxie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Eddie and Lois Alme; and his fur babies, Gizmo, and Sookie "Sad Sack".
