William "Wayne" Foehringer, 64, formerly of Seneca, died Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday June 10, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Seneca with the Rev. Kris Zierke officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Tuesday June 9, at Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home, with a 1 hour visitation prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Seneca. There will also be a Memorial Celebration held 12:00 PM, Sunday, June 14, at Salem Lutheran Church in Sandwich with the Rev. Gene Peisker officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home. Wayne was born July 19, 1944 in Morris, IL, to William Edward and Mae (Jackson) Foehringer. He was a welder at DuPont and was also a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Seneca. He is survived by one daughter, Cindy (Paul) Maierhofer of Seneca; one son, William "Bill" (Kim) Foehringer of Seneca; three grandchildren, Megan and Mackenzie Maierhofer and Nic Foehringer; his mother, Mae Foehringer of Seneca, his former wife, Ruth Ann Foehringer of Seneca, and his special friend, Becky O'Hanlon of Sandwich. He is preceded in death by his father; one brother, Richard Foehringer, and a sister, Judy Foehringer. Memorials may be directed to the family, for a Memoriam to be determined, in Wayne's name.
