William Steven Cook

William Steven Cook, 54, of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home.

William was born January 25, 1970, in Ottawa, IL, to Peter and Camilla (O'Keefe) Cook.

He attended Ottawa Township High School and was part of the class of 1988. In his free time, he enjoyed being on the water boating with his family and racing drag boats. He was an avid motorcyclist.

He is survived by his parents, Pete and Cam; his children, Peter and Kassie Cook; his brother, Brian Cook; his sister, Lori Cook; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Steven and Clara (Tabor) Cook, and his maternal grandparents, William and Dorothy (Urbanc) O'Keefe.
