William J. Baima

William Baima, 66, of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at his home. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 26, 2018 at Ottawa Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Grand Ridge Cemetery.. William was born October 31, 1951 in Ottawa, Illinois to William and Bernadine (Halberg) Baima. He married Connie Johnson August 25, 1979. He worked as a pipe fitter with Local 81 and retired from Local 597. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church and Starved Rock Yacht Club. He is survived by his wife, Connie; one daughter, Ashley Baima of Ottawa; three sons, Nathan (Nora) Baima, William Baima both of Seneca, and Jason Myers of Grand Ridge; three grandsons, Liam and Sawyer Baima, and Damon Myers; five sisters, Bonnie (Gilbert) Gregory, Connie (William) Malik, Susan (Randall) Goetsch, Patsy (Terry) Grunstad, and Mary (Jerry) Grunstad; one brother, David (Michelle) Baima. He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Nicholas. Pallbearers will be Greg Moreno, Eric Jensen, Scott Robertson, Domenic Grunstad, Dave Baima, Damon Myers, Bernard Sexton, Mike Gregory Honorary pallbearers will be Liam & Sawyer Baima Memorials may be directed to the family.
