Wesley Logsdon

Wesley J. Logsdon, 52, of Ottawa passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at his home. Funeral Ceremony will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, January 5, 2018 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm prior to services on Friday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Following services on Friday cremation rites will be accorded. Wesley was born June 2, 1965 in Rockford, Illinois. When he was younger he enjoyed being in the Boy Scouts; his uniform is proudly displayed at the Boy Scouting Museum in Ottawa. He previously owned and operated Chuckers Tree Service and he currently owns Logsdon snowplowing and firewood. He was dedicated to his job at Burns Machine for 15 years. He was a huge NASCAR fan and he enjoyed being a papa. He is survived by his father, Edward Logsdon Sr.; his daughter Jennafer (Ryan) Schuh; two grandchildren, Paisley Mae and Scarlett Schuh; his loving girlfriend, Amy Johnson; and his siblings, Edward Logsdon Jr., Patrick Logsdon, Annette Logsdon, Michael Logsdon, Greg Logsdon, Jacquelin Logsdon, Jennifer Baldy, Chad Logsdon, Johnny Budach, Jason Zajac, and Kirk Zajaz. He is preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Logsdon. Memorials may be directed to his family.
