Virginia C. Rowlee

Virginia C. Rowlee, 91, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013, at her home. There will be no services or visitation. Cremation rites were accorded. Ottawa Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Virginia was born September 8, 1922, in Porter Township, Wisconsin, to Orville and Helen (Nelson) Schlink. She married Norman Rowlee on January 24, 1942, in St. Charles, Missouri. He died October 5, 2006. She is survived by two daughters, Gail (Gary) Garrison of Georgia and Sharon (Tim) Chaney of Dayton; one son, Jay (Judy) of Leland; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two brothers, George (Judy) Schlink of Washington, IL and Don (Rita) Schlink of Grand Ridge. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Ray Schlink; and one sister, Ruth Miller.
