Virginia "Gini" Cisco, 88, of Santa Barbara, California, formerly of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013. Memorial Service for Gini will take place on Friday, July 5, 2013, at Santa Clara Catholic Church in Oxnard, CA and burial of her cremains will take place at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois, on September 7, 2013. Local arrangements have been entrusted to the Ottawa Funeral Home. Gini was born September 3, 1924, in Chicago, Illinois, to Fred D. and Edna (Keeley) Breit. She married Walter Cisco in 1946 in Evanston, Illinois. He preceded her in death. She and her sister, Gerre owned and operated the Ottawa Laundry and Cleaning Village and the Breit sisters owned and operated the Dayton Dam after their father died. She worked as a realtor on the North side of Chicago before moving to California. She is survived by her daughter, Carolynn (Tom) Dugan of Carpineria, CA; two sons, Stephen (Sandy) Cisco of Nashville, TN and Robert Cisco of Los Angeles, CA; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, Crystal, Erik, and Katherine; two great grandchildren, Jackson and Austin; and her sister, Geraldine Breit Walsh of Ottawa. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, Bette O'Keefe; and her brother, Frederick Breit.
