Vincent "Vinnie" Haws

Vincent Haws, 63, of Ottawa, IL, died, Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at his home. Funeral Services10:00 AM Wednesday at Ottawa Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ray Guthrie, of St. Columba Church officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday at the Ottawa Funeral Home. Vinnie was born September 20, 1947, in Ottawa, IL. to Vincent and Jessie (Parks) Haws. He servied in the US Army during the Vietnam war. Vinnie worked and volunteer at Servant Hearts, "Soup Kitchen" and the Ottawa PADDS homeless shelter. He is survived by three daughters Laura (Dave Krafft) Haws of Ottawa, Christine (Dan) Krafft og Oglesby and Karen Haws of Winchendon Massachusetts; six grandchildren Angela Haws, Zachary, Isabelle and Nicholas Billings, Brandon and Cheyenne Krafft, one sister Terry Haws and Daniel Haws both of Ottawa. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother david. Pallbearers will be Brandon, Dan, & Dave Krafft, Tom Haws, Zachary Billings and Justin . Memorials may be directed to the family .
