Veronica "Bonnie" Cecilia Hill

Veronica Cecelia "Bonnie" Hill, 72, of Grand Ridge, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Heritage Health in Streator.

Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at St. Mary's of the Field Church in Grand Ridge, with Father David Kipfer officiating. Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.

Bonnie was born January 26, 1944 in Streator to Clarence and Veronica (Kerrigan) Kuhn. She married Ronnie Hill on January 19, 1963 in Grand Ridge.

Bonnie was an assistant at Liberty Village, where she retired after many years. Previous to that, she had worked for Illinois Valley Cellular. She enjoyed working with flowers. Bonnie loved going for golf cart rides with her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ronnie; three children, Rhonda (James) McCormick, Randy Hill and his friend Lisa, and Ryan (Brittany) Hill; six grandchildren, Stephanie, Chelsie, and Ross McCormick, Chase and Wyatt Hill, and Max Hill; and four siblings, Mary Lou (Don) Harsted, Ann (Ed) Bedeker, Bud (Norma) Kuhn, and Edna (Roger) Talty.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
