Valerie Elli

Valerie Elli, 62, of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at JourneyCare Hospice in Chicago. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 pm, Sunday, November 8 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 3 pm. Due to CDC guidelines, we will be following regulations for masks and social distancing. Valerie was born March 16, 1958 in Evergreen Park to Gerald and Lucille (Knauf) Granat. She worked in the healthcare field as a CNA and home health/hospice aid. She is survived by her father, Gerald of Michigan; two daughters, Melissa Oaks of Ottawa and Sara (Jay) Rexroat of Seneca; one son, Aaron Elli of Ottawa; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Glenn and Jerry Granat. She was preceded in death by her mother. Memorials may be directed to her family.
