Val "Bobby" E Mills

Val E. "Bobby" Mills, 62, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi with Father Tony Fevlo officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Ottawa Funeral Home. He will be buried in St. Columba Cemetery. Bobby was born October 4, 1952 in Ottawa, Illinois to Val and Vera (Barrett) Mills. He worked for Friendship Village for over 35 years. He is survived by one sister, Katie (Vernon) Heft; and one brother, Michael (Pam) Mills both of Ottawa. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Judith Thorson. Pallbearers will be Patrick, Shawn, and Matthew Conerton, Albert and Nicholas Mihalek, and Larry Thorson. Memorials may be directed to Ottawa Hospice or Friendship Village.
