Umberto Zdrilich

OTTAWA -- Umberto Zdrilich, 68, of Ottawa, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, at Ottawa Pavilion. Funeral services will be private. Cremation rites were accorded. Ottawa Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Zdrilich was born Aug. 23, 1939, in Croatia, to Nicolo and Alberta (Olivieri) Zdrilich. He married Nancy Vernola on April 21, 1968. She died May 31, 1999. He was a retired tailor. He is survived by one son, Fabio (Estela) of Ottawa; a stepgrandchild, Eric Valdez; three sisters, Juliana Gay and Sonia (Jerry) Marzullo, both of California, and Orlanda Zdrilich of Carol Stream; and a brother, Dario (Nancy) Zdrilich of Peoria. He was preceded in death by his parents.
