Toby Farrell

Glenn "Toby" Farrell, 57, of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014. Funeral Service for Toby will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2014, at the Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, prior to services, at the Ottawa Funeral Home. Toby was born November 10, 1956, in Ottawa, Illinois, to Glenn Sr. and Donna (Mumper) Farrell. He married Virginia "Jenny" Joyce on September 4, 1976, in Ottawa. He worked out of Laborers Local 393 for Advanced Asphalt of Princeton, Illinois. Toby loved the outdoors, enjoyed to hunt and fish, and he absolutely adored his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Jenny; two sons, Jason (Nicole) Joyce and Joshawa (Angela Sobkowiak) Farrell; one daughter, Jessica (Dominic Onoroto) Farrell; his mother, Donna; his mother-in-law, Joan Martinez; ten grandchildren, Callie Halverson, Mallory Joyce, Olivia Joyce, Addison Joyce, Jonathon Farrell, Justen Farrell, Hayden Onoroto, Neveah Farrell, Richard Onoroto, and Mathew Onoroto; three brothers, Donald (Julie) Farrell, Jimmy Farrell, Kevin Farrell; one sister, Stephanie (Joe) Farrell Mosier; and his bird dog, Bella. Toby was preceded in death by his father, Glenn M. Farrell, Sr. and a brother, Ronald Farrell. Memorials may be directed to the family.
