Timothy Mossey

Timothy A. Mossey, 57, of Ottawa, IL, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon.

Private services will be held. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home

Timothy was born September 20, 1965, in Tampa, FL, to Patrick J. Mossey and Carol Furman.

Timothy served in the Army, stationed at Ft. Stewart in Georgia.  Later he worked as a carpenter and for Pipefitters Local 597 .  He was a member of the Harley Owners Group "H.O.G." and took many trips on his motorcycle. He loved to fish and was an avid diver.

He is survived by his mother, Carol Barber; his step mother, Carol Mossey; his sister, Lynn (Brett) Carroll; his half brother, Christopher Barber; his brother-in-law, Bill Strong; his sister-in-law, Sandra Brassfield; his nieces and nephews, Lindsey (Blaine) Davis, Tamra (Kris) Ronning, Kylie (Jake) Zdunich, John and Darby Carroll, Jamie (Will) Pendarvis, Joshua Baldwin, and Ireland and Patrick Strong; and his uncles Michael (Linda) Mossey and Joseph (Carlyn) Mossey.

Timothy was preceded in death by father, Patrick J. Mossey; his siblings, Patrick Mossey Jr. and Stephanie Strong; his grandma, Margaret Mossey; and his great aunt, Marian Mossey.
