Thomas M. Mcginnis

Thomas M. McGinnis, Sr., 74, of Ottawa passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 pm, Wednesday, December 12 at St. Columba Church, with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 to 1:30 Wednesday, prior to the services, at Ottawa Funeral Home.

Tom was born November 8, 1944 in Washington, Indiana to Monroe and Lucille (LaVelle) McGinnis. He married Esther Ferrer May 3, 1969 in Puerto Rico.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Esther; four children, Esther Crowley, and Theresa, Tammi, and Thomas Jr.; and his brother, William McGinnis. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Kathy Moffit.

Memorials may be directed to the family to be dispersed to local charities.
