Theresa Willet

Theresa Willet, 80, of Ottawa, IL passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Funeral Services will be 12:00 pm, Saturday, May 15, at Ottawa Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglas Williams officiating. Visitation will be, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Saturday, May 15 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Theresa was born September 25, 1929 in Ottawa, IL. to Sam and Josephine (Alacko) Tershowski. She married LaVern Willet July 3, 1949, at St. Mary's Church in Naplate. She and her husband owned and had operated the Dr. Pepper bottling company in Ottawa. Theresa is survived by two daughters, Mary (Don) Woodyer and Pam Willet, both of Ottawa; one son, Bill Willet of Ottawa; seven grandchildren, Adam and Kevin Woodyer, Nikki DeWalt, Aaron Willet and Stacy Gabehart, David Jackman and Devan Gagliardo; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Anne Maccono of Ottawa, and her daughter-in-law Lori Willet. She is preceded in death by her husband "Tootie", one son, Joe "DP" Willet; three sisters, Mary, Olga, and a sister in infancy; three brothers, John, Mike, and Steve "Skippy" Tershowski; and a daughter in law, Madeline. Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
