Terry Mccormick

Terry McCormick, 73, of Sheridan passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am, Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Camp Tuckabatchee, 1973 N. 35th Road, Ottawa IL 61350, with Military Honors following at 12:15 pm.

Terry was born June 11, 1944, to Clarence and Eileen (Fenton) McCormick. He married Sheila Woodward on October 7, 1978. She survives in Sheridan, IL.

He graduated from Southern Illinois University. He was a Vietnam War veteran serving from 1969 to 1971. He retired in 2012 after 40 years from LaSalle County Parks. He was a member of LASCART and LaSalle County Posse.

He is also survived by his two children, Kaitlin Anne McCormick of Littleton, CO and Michael Joseph McCormick of Aurora, IL; two sisters, Gail Guilfoile of Denver, CO and Karen (Don) Norton of Chicago, IL; a brother, William McCormick of Sheboygan, WI; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Renda McCormick; and nephews, Michael Norton and Mark McCormick.
