Terri Crain

Terri L. Crain, 67, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at her home.

Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, March 10 at Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory, with Chaplin Linda Weidenbach officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the Ottawa funeral home.

Terri was born August 7, 1948 in Ottawa, to Harry and Kathryn (Brown) Ostby. She married Paul David Crain on April 24, 1998; he passed away September 10, 2012.

Terri was previously a CNA for Heritage Woods, LaSalle County Nursing Home, and Willow Crest in Sandwich; where she considered her clients as her family. She loved to garden and hunt, and she always had a great time shopping. She was a season pass holder to Dreamwave Wrestling. When she was younger, she drove stock cars and motorcycles. She always had a bow in her hair and matched from head to toe. Her bright and bubbly demeanor and her legendary hugs will be greatly missed by all her family and her friends.

She is survived by three children, John (Laura) Smallbone, Judy (Jim) Schweim, and James (the favorite) Smallbone; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one brother, Dan (Marilyn) Ostby.

She was preceded in death by her husband David Crain, her parents, Harry and Kathryn Ostby, and one sister, Mitzi Davis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
