Tammy Wasilewski

Tammy Rae (Reynolds) Wasilewski, 64, of Ottawa, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, from 10:00am until 1:00pm at Ottawa Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will follow at 1:00pm. Burial will be in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery at a later date. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home.

Tammy was born July 31, 1961, in Ottawa, IL to Vernon and Judith (McGraw) Reynolds. Tammy worked as a bus driver for Ottawa Elementary School District 141 where she became very close with all her passengers over the years. It was said "if you didn't know Tammy, you haven't lived in Ottawa long enough". She enjoyed spending time with her Birthday Club "Ya Yas" every month, going out to eat to celebrate each other's birthday. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam Lovell; her grandchildren, Presli and Xander Lovell; her father, Vernon (Judy) Reynolds; her siblings, Sandy (Chuck) Shreve and Rick (Cassie) Reynolds; her niece and nephews, Kyle, Brittany, Chaz, Alex, and Drew; as well as countless friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Judith.
