Suzanne M. Less

Suzanne "Sue" Less, 62, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013, at Horizon Hospice & Palliative Care in Chicago. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at St. Columba Church, with Rev. David Kipfer of St. Columba Church officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at Ottawa Funeral Home, with family prayers at 3:45 p.m. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Sue was born August 19, 1951, in Ottawa, Illinois to Robert J. and Agnes (Herzog) Nevin, Sr. She married Frank Less on February 26, 1970, at St. Mary's Church in Naplate. She worked at Value City for 19 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and currently a member of St. Columba Church and Shoreline Boat Club. She is survived by her husband Frank; one daughter, Michelle (Kim Becker) Less of Plainfield; one son, Michael Robert (Jodi) Less of Morris; seven grandchildren, TJ, Dana, Haley, Sydney, Jada, Andrew, and Mia; two sisters, Elizabeth Burnett of Cedar City, UT and Nancy (John) Britt of Somonauk; and two brothers, Robert (Margaret) Nevin, Jr. of Ottawa and William (Cindy) Nevin of Morgantown, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers will be Josh, Joel and Jonanne Britt, Nevada, Morgan, Ciara and Connor Nevin and Alecia Benson. Memorials may be directed to the family.
