Susan M. Barkowski

Susan M. Barkowski, 53, of Seneca, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Walnut Grove Village in Morris. Susan's wishes were to donate her body to science for medical research. Memorial Service for Susan will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Seneca with Rev. Kris Zierke officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home in Seneca. Susan was born July 30, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to Theodore and Elsie (Sandstron) Garner. She married Donald Barkowski April 11, 1987 in Chicago. She worked as a Certified Nurses Aid at the Hygienic Institute in LaSalle, Illinois. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Seneca and Women of the Moose of Ottawa. She is survived by her loving husband, Don, and her son Michael Barkowski of Berwyn. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be directed to Our Saviors Lutheran Church.
