Shirley Mcnamara

Shirley J. McNamara, 79, of Ottawa, died Saturday, Jan. 31, at La Salle County Nursing Home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles, with the Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home. She was born May 16, 1929, in Marseilles, to John William and Grace (Gray) Hardin. She married Francis "Frank" Sullivan Feb. 24, 1950. He died July 1952. She then married James Dale McNamara April 24, 1954. He died July, 1978. She is survived by a son, Michael (Patricia) Sullivan of Ottawa; two nieces, Shirley Grace Bernard and Billie Mae (Marty) Mau; and one great-nephew, John Mau. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Ellen Bernard; and two brothers, John Jr.and Richard Hardin.
