Shelly A. Zywica

Shelly A. Zywica, 55, of DePue, formerly of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory, with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, three hours prior to the services at the funeral home.

Shelly was born March 12, 1960 in Ottawa to Marion and Dorothy (Gumm) Davis. She enjoyed fishing and taking walks on the beach, and loved camping and being outside with her dog, Max.

She is survived by two daughters, Danielle (Lance) Valle of Ottawa, and Nichole Zywica of Spring Valley; two grandchildren, Haiden Stanford, and Ryleigh Valle; two sisters, Laurie Butzen of DePue, and Tammy Prather of Huntley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, John Davis.
