Shawn P. Pavy

Shawn P. Pavy, 38, of Ottawa, died Saturday August 1, 2009 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Thursday August 6, at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa with the Rev. Lourduraj Ignatius officiating. Visitation will 4-7 Wednesday August 5, at Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 4:00 pm. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Shawn, the loving son, of Rosalie (Barton) Pavy and Roger Pavy was born October 25, 1970 in Streator, IL. He attended St. Patrick's Grade School in Ottawa and was a 1988 Graduate of Marquette High School. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. Shawn was a caring and loving person who opened his heart to everyone he met and will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by his Mother Rosalie Pavy of Ottawa; his Father, Roger Pavy of Long Beach, CA.; his Maternal Grandmother, Anne Barton of Ottawa; his Aunts and Uncles, Joanne Highland, James Barton, David Barton, Neysa Derbort, and Celeste Heusner; and his Paternal Grandmother, Cleta Pavy. He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Erving Barton Sr.; his Paternal Grandfather, Norman Pavy; and his Special Friend and Pet, Sweet Pea. Pallbearers will be James Barton, David Barton, John Noonan, Andy Mucci, Shawn Savageau, and Scott Burgwald. Memorials will be directed to the family.
