Shannon L. Neurohr

Shannon L. Neurohr, 50, of Ottawa passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Memorial Services will be held at 6 pm, Thursday, August17 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Driscoll officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 pm, prior to services, Thursday at the funeral home.

Shannon was born September 19, 1966 in Hawaii, to Ralph J. and Bonnie Clos. She married Thomas Neurohr on May 15, 1999 in Ottawa.

Shannon worked for the Ottawa Township for the last 17 years, recently promoted to supervisor in April. She loved painting and fishing, and she loved her pets. Shannon was a loving wife, mother, and grandma. She fought a courageous battle with cancer the last few years.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Tom; three children, Joe (Anna) Jorgenson, Spencer (Taylor Wren) Neurohr, and Joshua Jorgenson, all of Ottawa; five grandkids, Joe, Mario, Leif, Reed, and Saige; her brother, Shawn (Kathy) Clos of New Bern, NC; her sister, Holly Johnson of Des Moines, IA; her mother-in-law, Judy Neurohr of Ottawa; and two brothers-in-law, Dave (Lisa) Neurohr, and Pete (Kayla) Neurohr, both of Ottawa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her father-in-law, Dave Neurohr.
