Scott Larsen

Scott Alan Larsen, 41, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012 at his home. Memorial Service for Scott will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Illini State Park in Marseilles with Rev. Danny Ricks officiating, with a meal to immediately follow. Arrangements were entrusted to Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home in Seneca. Scott was born April 25, 1970 to Henry Butch and Myrna Nadine Larsen. He is survived by one daughter, Katie Dixon; two sons, Caleb (Shelly) Dixon and Race Larsen; three sisters, Tina Whited, Rhonda (James) Read, and Terry (Danny) Ricks, all of Alabama; two grandsons of Illinois; sixteen nieces and nephews; six great nieces and nephews; his girlfriend, Ashley Doglio; and many close friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrna Nadine Larsen; his father, Henry Butch Larsen; his brother, Samuel Larsen; and one nephew, Benjamin Edwards. Memorials may be directed to the family to benefit his final wishes.
