Sarah Elizabeth Smith

Sarah Elizabeth Smith, 28, of Marseilles passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018.

Funeral Ceremony will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, April 6, 2018 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Bladen officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 to 6:00, three hours prior to services, Friday at Ottawa Funeral Home.

Sarah was born February 26, 1990 in Spring Valley, Illinois to Stephen and Rebecca (Nelson) Smith. She was a 2008 graduate of Ottawa Township High School and spent four years in band while there she also attended I.V.C.C.. She currently was a shift manager at PaPa John's in Ottawa. Sarah enjoyed spending time with her daughter Lillian and being outdoors. She had a passion for art, music and took dance classes since she was 4 years old thru high school.

She is survived by her parents; her daughter, Lillian Rose; two siblings, Steven (Mary St. Aubin) Smith and Stephanie (Paul) Addink; her grandparents, Delbert (Dorothy) Nelson; and her aunts, Jennifer (Greg) Allen, Lori (Sonny) Preci, Dorothy Peterson, Doreen Nelson, many cousins and her furry baby Snickers.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, James (Lucille) Smith; and her uncle Delbert Swen Nelson.

Memorials may be directed to her family to be used for her daughter's education.
