Sandra S. O'Flanagan, 80, of Ottawa passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation rites. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park at a later date. Sandra was born February 15, 1938, in Chanute, Kansas to Robert L. and LaDonna F. (Herring) Miller. She married Raymond O'Flanagan on February 19, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri; he passed away November 16, 2017. Sandra retired from Myer Brothers Implements then worked part time at Heiss Welding. She was a member of Crossbridge Community Church of the Nazarene, where she also volunteered for Feed His Children. Sandra was the queen of homemade potato salad. She is survived by three daughters, LaDonna (Darrell) Gale, LaRae (Frank) Armstrong, and Elizabeth (Rob) Berger; one son, Darren (Joan) O'Flanagan; ten grandchildren, Courtney (Avi) Dutt-Mazumder, Joshua (Kaitlin Ogburn) Gale, Brittany (Ryan) Hill, Brianna Armstrong, Brenna (Cameron) Tavenner, Loren Strange, Zachary and Brenton Berger, Renee and Kayli O'Flanagan; and six great-grandchildren, Max, Paxton, Fynn, Kensington, Madison, and Connor. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one grandson, Stuart O'Flanagan; Memorials may be directed to Crossbridge Church or the American Cancer Society.
