Ryan Keime

Ryan L. Keime, 31, of Ottawa passed away Monday, October 27, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Ottawa Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Underwood officiating. His visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm Friday, October 31, 2014 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be private and at a later date. Ryan was born September 16, 1983 in Canton, Illinois to Robert Keime and Jenny (Newman) Keime. Ryan was a 2002 graduate from Roseville High School in Roseville, IL as well as a 2007 graduate of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. He is survived by his parents, Jenny (Terry) Thompson, of Ottawa, Robert Keime of Cuba, IL; his paternal grandmother, Donna Keime of Canton Il; one sister, Christa (Jeff) Taylor of Willowbrook; one brother, Matthew (Sarah) Keime of Peoria; two step-sisters, Claire (Ren) Salgado of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Sarah Thompson of Mt. Pleasant, SC; stepbrother, Matthew Thompson of Charleston, SC, five nieces and nephews, Elaina Taylor, Sophia and Grant Salgado, Amelia Peagler, and Graham Lewis; special aunts, Sharon (Larry) Williams of Bowie, MD, Rebecca Keime Armstrong of Wichita, KS; and five cousins. He also leaves behind his loyal friend and companion, Mera Christmas the boxer. He is preceded in death by both of his grandfathers and maternal grandmother. Memorials may be directed to Pet Project Animal Shelter or Ottawa Fire and Ambulance Department.
