Ruth M. Robinson

Ruth M. Robinson, 90, of Marseilles, passed away Sunday September 7, 2008 at Rivershores Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Marseilles. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 10 A.M. at St. Patricks Church with Rev. Philip Halfacre officiating. Burial will be in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum at Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 P.M. Wednesday, September 10, 2008 with prayers at 4 P.M. and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas in attendance at the Ottawa Funeral Home. She was born on September 25, 1917 at Ottawa, IL to James and Mary (Donahue) Garland. She married Hugh Robinson on December 12, 1936 at Ottawa, IL. He passed away in 1987.She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and the Catholic Daughters of Americas. She is survived by one son, Clifford (Judy)Robinson of Serena; four grandchildren, Craig Robinson of Mt. Home, Arkansas, Jill (Jim) Mooneyham of Marseilles, Jennifer (Phillip) Edgecomb and Christopher (Lisa) Robinson both of Serena; seven great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
