Rose Marie Zwanzig

Rose (Zemaitis) Zwanzig, 84, of Ottawa passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, November 30 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11, prior to services, at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Rose was born May 13, 1937, in Mendota to Charles and Ruth (Conrad) Zemaitis. She grew up in Wedron and attended Ottawa Township High School. She enjoyed her trips to Florida, cooking for her family, and working in her yard and garden. She loved making craft and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by; her daughter, Lisa (Dale) Sarver; son, William (Sandy) Zwanzig, III; a brother, Richard "Zeke" (Nancy) Zemaitis, all of Ottawa;  two grandsons, Dalton and Devon. Rose was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Chuck Zemaitis. Pallbearers will be her family. Memorials may be directed to Breast Cancer Research or Pet Project.
