Rose Marie Kubinski

Rose Marie Kubinski, 87, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at St. Columba Church with Rev. Corey Kreingel officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the Ottawa Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in the St. Columba Cemetery in Ottawa, Il. Rose was born August 1, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Victoria (Janik) Zajac. In 1948 Rose Married Thomas Anthony Kubinski, they were married for 36 years Tom died June 3, 2014. Rose and her Husband Tom owned and operated Three Fires Canteen Vending, and then acquired the Kubinski Company, RC Cola Distributorship. She was a member of St. Columba Church . She is survived by son, Edward (Ottawa) and stepdaughter, Jennifer Swanson and her husband, Spence, their children, Nate, Joel and Claire; son, Theodore (Ottawa) and his wife, Sue, and their children, Kristen (Porter), Kazimir and Tadeuz; son, Thomas (Ottawa); daughter, Karen (Swenson) and her husband John, of Elysian, Minn., and their children, Edward, Kristin and Michael and his wife Erica and great-grandson Henrik; and son, John (Ottawa), who is currently living and working in China. She is also survived by her loyal black lab dog, Annie. She is preceded in death by parents John and Victoria Zajak. Also, her brothers Joseph, John, Thaddeus, and Frank. Sisters Helen Misic, Wanda Wodynski, Florence Drengacz, and Dorothy Zajac Paxton. Pallbearers will be Kristen Porter, Kazimir Kubinski, Tadeuz Kubinski, Edward Swenson, Kristin Swenson, and Michael Swenson. Memorials may be directed to St. Columba Church 122 W.
