Rosalee "Lee" A. Shafer

Rosalee "Lee" Shafer, 85, of Streator (formerly of Villa Park), IL, passed away on June 25th, 2024 at the Ottawa Pavilion.

Lee was born January 26, 1939 in Denver, Colorado to Marian Boyd and Eva Norkis.

She worked at Zenith as an Accountant for many years. Lee was also involved in the local Jaycees and assisted with the opening and operation of the volunteer recycling center, helped with the paving of the Illinois Prairie Path with limestone, and many other civic projects.

She is survived by her four children; Scott Shafer, Deborah Anderson, Suzanne Wilson, and Mark Shafer; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Lee was preceded in death by her Father, Marian Boyd & Mother, Eva Norkis.
