Ronna Fessler

Ronna Lynn Fessler, 77, of Marseilles, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026.

Cremation rites have been entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home.

Ronna was born October 6, 1948, in Ottawa, IL to Emmett and Betty Lou (Wilson) Frye. She married Willis Fessler on April 19, 1969, at the Methodist Church in Ottawa. She enjoyed spending time with her sister, especially going out to dinner together. Ronna also loved her dogs, Ellie Mae and Babs, and could often be found watching her favorite soap operas and westerns.

She is survived by her son, Jim (Sue) Fessler; her siblings, Kim (Sue) Frye, Tonya Borowicz, Emmett Frye Jr. "Laddie," Johnna (Winford) DeClue, and Babette (Derek) Alonzo; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Betty Lou Frye, and her husband, Willis Fessler, and her brother-in-law, Joseph Borowicz.
