Ronald Serby

Ronald Serby, 75, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013, at Pleasant View. Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 am to 12:00 noon Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Ottawa Funeral Home. He will be buried in St. Columba Cemetery. Ronald was born November 8, 1937, in Ottawa, Illinois, to Glenn and Lomena (Budach) Serby. He married Arlis Dougherty. He worked for St. Louis Beverage Company as a semi driver. He was a member of the American Legion. Ronald is survived by his wife, Arlis; one daughter, JoAnne Even; two sons, Glenn (Mary) Serby and Steve (Melissa) Serby; seven grandchildren, Kylie, Keegan, Casie, Nick, Allen, Jacob, and Kate; and one sister, Sharon Becker. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Mary Gahan. Memorials may be directed to The American Cancer Society.
